Atheism and morality

No religion guarantees a person’s morality. Atheists aren’t automatically immoral because they aren’t trying to get into heaven or hell.
I think it speaks more to a person’s character than anything if they can’t see the point in being moral without a God. I would like my experience on this planet to be a positive one, not just for me, but for the people around me and all over the world. I want to be moral, not because I have any incentive to be, but because I’m smart enough to know the differences between wrong and right and act upon it. Because I can see no reason to be immoral any more than people that think atheists would see no reason to be moral.
